Spring Fishing - Bass are moving into shallow water to prepare for their spawning season.  During this time it is good to look for bedding activity that takes place in shallow water.  For pre-spawn fish, rattler traps will spark a reaction bite from fish.  Later in the spawn season bedding fish will react well to lizards.  For post-spawn fish try top water lures, such as a buzz-bait or pop-R.  Post spawn fishing is very exciting, due to the explosive nature of top water fishing
